Training that runs on your own project
Software training on a sample building teaches the software. We would rather teach your team on your work, so the week ends with drawings you can actually issue.
Six tracks, combined to fit your team
Onboarding
Installation, interface, templates and project setup on your own standards, so the team starts in the right place rather than finding its own way.
Architectural essentials
Parametric walls, doors, windows, roofs, stairs and terrain; design phases and LOD; producing a coordinated drawing set from the model.
Interiors & KBB
Room-level design, tiling and lighting, parametric cabinets, and getting cutting lists and bills of materials out to the workshop.
Documentation & standards
Layouts, multi-scale viewports, layer strategy, and setting up a template your whole office works to.
Interoperability
IFC in and out, working alongside Revit, linked models, and handing over without losing data.
Institutional programmes
Curriculum mapped to your syllabus, faculty training first, and lab licensing — so the teaching and the licences arrive together.
The usual reason a BIM rollout fails is not the software
It is that drawing production slowed down during the transition and the team quietly went back to what worked. We plan around that: train on live work, set up the office template before anyone models in anger, and stay available afterwards so the first hard week does not become a retreat.
- Your templates, title blocks and layer standards set up first
- Training on a live project, not a sample file
- Follow-up sessions once the team hits real problems — which is when questions get useful
- Ongoing support from the same people who trained you
Colleges and training institutes are a segment we actively support. Faculty are trained first, the curriculum is mapped to your syllabus, and lab licensing is priced for education rather than for industry — so students learn on licensed software instead of whatever they can find.
Common questions
Is training included when we buy GstarBIM?
Onboarding is included with licences bought through QuantX BIM — enough to get your team modelling and producing drawings on your own templates. Longer structured programmes and institutional training are quoted separately.
How long does it take a CAD team to become productive?
Faster than most BIM transitions, because GstarBIM keeps familiar shortcut commands and layer behaviour. A drafting team typically produces usable drawings within the first week and works confidently within a month, provided the training is done on your own project rather than a sample file.
Do you train at our office or online?
Both. Online sessions suit distributed teams and follow-up; on-site works better for a studio moving over together. We travel for on-site training across India.
Do you work with colleges and training institutes?
Yes, and it is a segment we actively support — lab licensing, faculty training and a curriculum mapped to your syllabus. Tell us your student numbers and lab setup and we will put a proposal together.
Can training be run on our own live project?
We prefer it. Training on a sample building teaches the software; training on your project teaches your team how they will actually work, and you finish the week with real output rather than an exercise.
