ARCHLine.XP is now GstarBIM
If you have used ARCHLine.XP, or evaluated it and lost track of where it went, the short answer is that it did not disappear — it was renamed and carried forward.
What actually happened
ARCHLine.XP was developed by CadLine, a Hungarian studio, over roughly three decades. In 2025 Gstarsoft acquired CadLine and formed a subsidiary, Gstar Hawk3D Technologies, to carry the BIM product forward internationally. GstarBIM is that product: the same lineage and engineering, under a new name and with the resources of a much larger parent behind it.
What it means if you are an existing user
The thirty years of development did not reset. The modelling approach, the interior design strength and the documentation workflow that made ARCHLine.XP worth using are what GstarBIM is built on — with buildingSMART IFC certification, Autodesk Construction Cloud connectivity and the 2027 interface work layered on top.
Licensing and support in India
QuantX BIM is the authorised exclusive India distributor for GstarBIM. That means licensing in rupees with GST invoicing, onboarding and training delivered locally, and support in your own time zone from people who use the product — rather than a licence key and an overseas email address.
